Whoosh,[1] also referred to as the Alpha Whale,[1][2] is a gimmick in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. A type of mechanical naval vessel, these ships constitute a transportation system located in Orchid Bay and Monkey Foothills that is used for quick shuttling between these two areas.
Physical appearance[]
The Whooshes are whale-sized, golden-colored metallic vessels that are appropriately designed like a whale with a massive head. They possess segmented bodies for flexible movements and rivets along their edges. They also each have four red, furnace-like grooves on their noses, massive lips with sharp teeth in their mouths, menacing orange eyes consisting of hexagonal facets, a smokestack each where they would have blowholes, small pectoral fins, and large caudal fins.
Gameplay[]

In gameplay, the Whoosh is a warp portal used by Avatars to warp them between Orchid Bay and the coast of Monkey Foothills. Utilizing them are free of costs, such as Taros and Fusion Matter. To use a Whoosh, click on the Whoosh attendant next to the Whoosh, which are recognized by the brown and golden diving dresses that they wear, and select the "WARP" icon. The Avatar will then briefly be surrounded by an orange column of light before they are instantly transported between Whoosh locations.

The Past[]
In the Past, the Whoosh transportation system was established as a direct route between Orchid Bay and Monkey Foothills. Over time, these naval vessels would be used by the Avatar and the other soldiers opposing the Fusion Invasion.

- Super Speed: With its power provided by the angst of thirty juvenile delinquents,[3] the Whoosh is boasted to be the fastest thing in the Seven Seas.[2]

Origins[]
Whoosh, from The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack.
Whoosh, also known as the Alpha Whale, originates from the 2008 American animated television series The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack. An automated, whale-based naval vessel built by the deranged and arrogant Inventor for above and undersea traversal, it uses propeller propulsion and is powered by a steampunk-like engine. However, integral to its operations are the thirty delinquent children, whom the Inventor basically uses as slaves, that supply the Whoosh's boiler with coal.
In an effort to show off the supremacy of his Whoosh, the Inventor convinced Flapjack to have it face Bubbie, whom Flapjack boasted was the fastest ship on the seven seas, in a race. Despite both the Whoosh and Bubbie enduring a treacherous sea, the Whoosh lost its edge when the Inventor accidentally got rid of the children powering it, causing it to lose to Bubbie by a tongue.
