Origin[]

Pimpleback Mountain, from Camp Lazlo.
The Pimpleback Mountains are based on the location from the 2005 American animated television series Camp Lazlo. In that media, it is presented as a single mountain named Pimpleback Mountain in the wilderness of Northport, Wisconsin.
Pimpleback Mountain serves as a place of historical significance to Scoutmaster Lumpus's great-grandfather, General Sherman Beauregard Lumpus. It was ostensibly stated by Lumpus himself that Sherman fought against an army single handedly on Pimpleback Mountain to defend his own tent, "Old Ironside". In truth, Sherman was attacked by his own men for stealing their tents to make Old Ironside, and rolled down the mountain until he fell into a passing circus train, where he was last seen cleaning up after the elephants.
