Latest revision as of 16:43, 12 January 2024

The soundtrack for the original Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall and FusionFall Heroes was composed by Seth Podowitz.

Songs[]

Certain songs are exclusive to the Future area of the game, or the tutorial area of the game; these exclusivities should be detailed in the music descriptions. The songs are organized based as follows: general themes, Future themes, Academy themes, area themes, and Infected Zone themes.

Some music pieces were available for download on the official website.[1] However, since the website was shut down, these music files cannot be downloaded from there.

Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall[]

Songs played in and/or related to Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall.

Game Songs[]

Shown below are the music pieces used in FusionFall. The titles are modeled after where they play in the game, but some of them have official titles, which are noted in their descriptions if applicable.

Title[2][3] Description Audio
Main Title[2]

The main theme of FusionFall. It is heard on the loading screen and in Fuse's Lair.

On the website, the song is listed under the name "Heroes Wanted", and has the file name "fftheme.mp3".[4]

Character Creation[2] Played during the character creation.
Tech Square Intro[2] Previously heard during the first cutscene of the original tutorial, the 'future' version of FusionFall's opening.
Tech Square (Future)[2] Previously heard in the original tutorial area, the future version of Tech Square.
Fighting Monsters[2] Played during the tutorial fights against Fusion Spawns, Cyberus , and Tech Wing in the future version of the FusionFall tutorial.
Planet Fuse[2] Played during the cutscene that explains Planet Fusion to the player in the original, future tutorial.
Tech Square Infected Zone[2] Played in the tutorial infected zone of the original FusionFall future area.
Fusion Buttercup's Lair[2] Played in Fusion Buttercup's lair in the original FusionFall's future tutorial.
Fall of Tech Square[2] Heard during the final cutscene of the original, future FusionFall tutorial.
Dexlabs Carrier[2] Heard during the final cutscene of the original FusionFall tutorial.
Future[2] Originally played in every area that takes place in the future.

Into the Void[2] Heard in the Null Void academy training grounds in the academy tutorial.
Heavy Petting[2] Played in the Providence HQ academy training grounds.
Never Say Never[2] Played at Mount Neverest, the graduation area of the academy FusionFall tutorial.
Suburbia[2] Area music for Sector V, Pokey Oaks North, Pokey Oaks South , and Genius Grove. This may be based on the intro theme for Dexter's Laboratory.
Summerland[2] Area music for Peach Creek Commons, Candy Cove, Goat's Junk Yard, Peach Creek Estates, and Foster's Home. This appears to be based on the intro theme of Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends.
Outskirts[2] Area music for locations on the western border of the Suburbs region. These areas are: Endsville, Habitat Homes, Nuclear Plant, Eternal Vistas, and Eternal Meadows.
Woods[2] Played in Prickly Pines, Camp Kidney, Acorn Flats, Leakey Lake, and Mount Blackhead.
Midtown[2] Music played in City Point, City Station, City Hall, Townsville Park, and Townsville Center.
Science District[2]

Played at Morbucks Towers, Galaxy Gardens, Mojo's Volcano, Steam Alley, Offworld Plaza, and Tech Square in Downtown. This some seems somewhat reminiscent of the Dexter's Laboratory intro theme.

On the website, the song is listed under the name "Heroes Square... Adventure Awaits", and has the file name "techcenter.mp3".[5][6]

Seaside[2] Played in Orchid Bay, Marquee Row, and Bravo Beach.

Darklands[2] The music played for all Darklands areas in FusionFall.
Codename T.R.A.I.N.I.N.G.[2]

Heard in the KND Training Area infected zone in Sector V (Future). Notably, this infected zone appears only in the future version of FusionFall. This appears to be based on the intro theme song for the Codename: Kids Next Door cartoon.

On the website, this song is listed under the name "Learning the Ropes", and has the file name "kndtraining.mp3".[7][8]

Pokey Oaks Junior High[2] Played in the Pokey Oaks Junior High infected zone in the past and the future.
Mandark's House[2] Used in both the past and future version of the infected zone at Mandark's House.
Stickybeard the Candy Pirate[2] Used in Sweet Revenge, the Candy Cove infected zone.
Scrapyard[2]

Heard in both versions of Megas' Last Stand, the infected zone in Goat's Junk Yard.

On the official website, the song is listed under the name "Hardcore Junkyard", and has the file name "megas.mp3".[9][10]

Promotional Songs[]

Songs used exclusively for FusionFall trailers and advertisements are listed in the table below. Some FusionFall trailers used in-game music, but most of them used compositions made exclusively for trailers and commercials. These songs were not released outside of the trailers they appear in, so the included audio (if applicable) retains voice-overs and sound effects from the original advertisements. Songs that have sound effects and/or voices heavily playing over them do not have embedded audio files provided, but still have their sources referenced.

Title (Unofficial) Description Audio

Cinematic Trailer BGM A music piece used for a CGI trailer for FusionFall. Snippets of this theme can also be heard in other trailers. The trailer in-question can be found here.

The first file is the trailer audio itself, while the second file is an incomplete version of the trailer's background music.

Cinematic Trailer BGM (Variation) A variation of the music used in the cinematic trailer, which was also played alongside said animation. The trailer in question can be found here (timestamped at 8:39 due to being part of a compilation).

Beta and Unused Songs[]

See Also: Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall/Beta Elements#Music

Below are early and/or unused versions of songs for Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. Songs for FusionFall were originally intended to be around 2–3 minutes in length, as indicated by the music pieces below.

Title Description Audio
Science District V1[11] An early version of the 'Science District' theme. It would have played in the same places the original does in-game, being Morbucks Towers, Mojo's VolcanoGalaxy Gardens, and Tech Square.
Stickybeard the Candy Pirate V1[12] An earlier version of 'Stickybeard the Candy Pirate'. It would have played in Sweet Revenge, the Candy Cove infected zone.
Midtown V1[13] An earlier version of the Midtown theme. Presumably, it would've been played in City Station, City Hall, and Townsville Center.
Orchid Bay (Unused)[14] A music piece that would have played in Orchid Bay. It appears to be an earlier version of 'Seaside', meaning it likely would have also played at Marquee Row, and Bravo Beach. In FusionFall Retro, it plays in Cutts and Bruises Skate Park, the infected zone at Orchid Bay.
Monster Island[15] An unused piece of music for FusionFall. This can not be heard anywhere in the game. It would have played in the area of the same name, but it was scrapped.
Toxic Race[16] An unused piece of music for FusionFall. This cannot be heard anywhere in the game. It was later used in a trailer for FusionFall Retro, when races were added.
Unknown Name Monkey Summit Retro Track An unused FusionFall track that was retrieved by FusionFall Universe and was implemented in the Monkey Summit Infected Zone in FusionFall Retro. Here's a video that documented the addition.

FusionFall Heroes[]

FusionFall Heroes has two newly composed songs for the game, and re-uses some songs from the original FusionFall, along with some of the areas they came from.

Title Description Audio
Main Theme[17] The main theme of FusionFall Heroes. It utilizes and remixes portions of the original FusionFall theme.
Boss Theme[18] The theme used for the bosses in FusionFall Heroes.

Trivia[]

  • The file name on the website for the 'Science District' music is "techcenter.mp3". Since the other files have names in line with the areas they play in (e.g. "kndtraining.mp3" for the KND training area, or "megas.mp3" for the music that plays in Goat's Junk Yard, which holds the Megas' Last Stand infected zone), it's possible that 'Tech Center' was the original name for Tech Square.
