FusionFall Wiki

Monkey Mountain refers to two areas in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. It is a region in the Wilds with an active volcano and lava fields that hold a great deal of significance to simians.

Environment[]

Monkey Mountain is a fiery wilderness landscape. It lies west of Monkey Foothills.

Monkey Mountain is a challenging terrain with a perilous peak that is not for hiking novices.[1] Its main attraction is the Monkey Summit, a very large and active volcano that has been turned into an Infected Zone.

The area is the home of many monkeys, included some of the Monkey Minions. Notably, Monkey Mountain has large, broken stone statues of Mojo Jojo in different places, which lie half-buried in the lava fields.

History[]

Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall[]

Before FusionFall[]

Before the Fusion Invasion began, Mojo Jojo would get his best Monkey Minion recruits from Monkey Mountain.[2]

Fusion Invasion[]

The Past[]

In the Past, when Fuse began the Fusion Invasion, the Monkey Minions had to abandon their plans to recruit more minions from Monkey Mountain and evacuate the area when the invasion reached it and Fuse took over Monkey Mountain.[3][4] Angered, Mojo Jojo made it his goal to take Monkey Mountain back from the enemy. He thus sent some Monkey Minions to this location to keep him updated on what occurred on the mountain.

When Mojo needed to test his new plan of creating Super Monkey Minions to battle Fuse, he decided to make the Avatar dump his version of the super-powered substance Chemical X into Forgotten Falls which would flow into Monkey Mountain and turn the monkey residence there into his army. He recruited Mandy's aid, but she ended up sabotaging his plan. With the Hypnosis Charm she and the Avatar obtained, a post-hypnotic suggestion to get rid of Mojo's Chemical X was implanted into the two Monkey Minions in charge of the dumping process.

Numbuh Three would also report that her Rainbow Monkeys had gone missing and that they had been sighted on Monkey Moutain, the fifth one being with Fusion Numbuh Three. Coco's eggs had as well been spotted around the mountain. Thinking they were stolen, the Avatar would recover them, and attempt to give them back to Coco, who, in the end, did not want them, which led to being given to Numbuh Four. It was later revealed that it was Fusion Coco, affected by Imaginary Energy, who laid the eggs, thus allowing the Avatar access to Fusion Mojo Jojo's Secret Lair at Monkey Mountain's summit. Fusion Juniper would also appear here, helping Fuse with his plan to use the powers of alien totems.
