History
Sometime during the invasion, an extraterrestrial sent a meteorite crashing down into Haunted Ridge. SACT first identified the origin as Planet Fusion, but later discovered the meteorite's ability to counteract Fuse's power.[1] SACT Agent Greenberg utilized its ore at the abandoned mine camp, repelling Fuse's minions and slimming the chances of becoming an infected zone.[2] At times, a UFO can be spotted moving over Haunted Ridge. Neither its origin nor the meteorite's are known, but it may be an homage to the Cartoon Network Invaded event. The representation of all five Invaded shows within the game supports this idea.
Haunted Ridge is also the strongest liason to the famed Debug Land. Unlike most areas, the player can reach the mountaintops before hitting any invisible walls. By navegating to the bottom-right corner, the player can view the region directly East and Southeast. Additonally, the Monkey Line leading to Acorn Flats briefly cuts through the area south thereof; although disembarking makes it possible to enter the "Unknown," the additonal invisible walls lead the player back into the main world.
