The official logo for the FusionFall Zine.

The FusionFall Zine is an unofficial for-profit fanzine that includes numerous images and artwork based on the Cartoon Network MMORPG FusionFall.

Volume 1 of the zine was lead by Haneoka, and has the work of twenty artist with a total of twenty-three full-page illustrations, in addition to offering bonus merchandise.

Physical copies of Volume 1 have already been preordered and shipped, and are no longer available to buy.

A link to a free digital and watermarked version of Volume 1 was released via the projects Twitter on February 27th, 2021. This version of the zine can be found here.

The project is now being overseen by Symon, a contributor to the first volume of the zine. They are now leading development on Volume 2, entitled FusionFall Zine 2: Fuse No More.

Volume 1 (2020-2021)[]

Development[]

Applications to submit art for the zine were first opened on May 7th, 2020 via the projects Twitter account, and ran from then until May 18th. On May 21st, everyone who applied were sent emails informing them as to whether or not their applications were accepted.

On July 13th, the zine's Twitter tweeted that the project was half-way completed.

On November 19th, the zine's Twitter tweeted that the zine's artworks were completed, and that pre-orders would be available in December.

Pre-Orders[]

On December 9th, the zine's Twitter tweeted that pre-orders for the zine were now open from that day until December 23rd. On December 23rd, pre-orders for the zine were closed, and it was announced via a tweet that the zine was expected to ship in late January 2021.

Shipping[]

On December 29th, it was announced on the projects Twitter that the shipping of the zine would be delayed to February 2021.

On February 8th, 2021, the Twitter account tweeted that the artist copies would be shipped the next day, and the domestic pre-order copies would be shipped out a week after, and over a few days, from the 16th to the 18th.

On February 17th, it was tweeted that due to a miscalculation of initial shipping costs, international shipping would be postponed, and would start on February 22nd.

On February 18th, the Twitter account tweeted that all the domestic orders have been shipped out, and that the international orders will be shipped out starting on February 22nd. A later tweet said that due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, along with other issues, international orders could take up to 3 months or longer in transit.

On February 21st, it was tweeted that all the international orders have been shipped out, and it was reiterated that these copies could take up to 3-6 months to get to their destination, due to the pandemic and other factors.

On February 26th, the Twitter account tweeted that due to delays with USPS priority mail, orders involving that service may take longer than usual to arrive.

New Leadership[]

On March 7th, Haneoka announced via the projects Twitter account that she would be leaving the project to attend to other priorities, and that if any customers of the physical copy of Volume 1 are having issues with it, they should contact her on her personal account.

The next day, the new admin of the project, Symon, announced via the projects Twitter account that they have become the projects new admin. They also stated that although there isn't anything to announce about a new zine volume, people should be on the look out in the coming months, as something may be in the works.

Volume 2 (2021)[]

Announcement[]

On May 15th, 2021, the projects Twitter account announced that a second volume of the zine will go into production in Summer 2021, and that new artist applications will open up on the 17th of May. With this announcement, the Twitter account changed its banner and profile pic. It's profile pic became a picture of Ben Tennyson, and its banner now shows Ben to the right of a new FusionFall Zine logo saying FusionFall Zine 2: Fuse No More.

Development[]

On May 17th, artist applications for the second volume of the zine were opened via the projects Twitter account. They ran from then to the 28th. On June 1st, everyone who applied were sent emails informing them as to whether or not their applications were accepted. Later that same day, it was announced that production on the second volume would also start on that day, and will go on for the next four months, with pre-orders for the volume going up in the fall.

On October 2nd, an update on volume two's production was posted on their Twitter. In it, they stated that their artists have been hard at work for the past few months, and that production will wrap up that month. They also said that there is no finalized release date as of yet, and to stay tuned for future updates.

  • Three artists who participated in the zine, Virt, Bambepin, and Kem, are former members of FusionFall Universe.
  • The subtitle of the second zine volume, Fuse No More, is a reference to the FusionFall mission line of the same name.
