FusionFall Wiki

Eddy is a NPC in Cartoon Network Universe: FusionFall. He is a human from the Cul-de-Sac in Peach Creek Commons and a close friend of Ed and Edd. The Eds' unofficial leader, Eddy is a loud and obnoxious showoff of a con-artist. Unlike Ed and Edd, Eddy is not very concerned about Fusion Monsters and this whole save-the-world thing after the Fusion Invasion began, but he is willing to try to capitalize on the situation with a slew of harebrained schemes.[1] To this end, he has assumed the role of a merchant during the war, selling and trading different goods with the various factions that have popped up in the world amidst the invasion.

Physical appearance[]

Eddy is a short human with slightly tanned skin, given the tan markings around his eyes, and three hairs stranding from the top of his head. For attire, he wears a yellow polo shirt with a purple collar and a red stripe on the right side, blue jeans with a chain wallet, and orange sneakers. Noticeably, he also has a protuberant upper lip.

History[]

The Future[]

Eddy in the future

In the Future, Eddy is the only character left of the three Eds, and apparently the only character from his series as a whole (due to the absence of the Kankers) to have survived up to after the fall of Tech Square. He can be found at the Cul-de-Sac in Peach Creek Commons.

During the war, Eddy sold some x-ray spec's to Urban Ranger Joey for a dollar, but never received his money. He sends the hero to talk to Joey. Joey explains himself and says that a Dire Hydra stole his wallet, so he can't pay back Eddy. Joey has the hero recover his wallet from a Dire Hydra, but it turns out to be empty. He then has the hero give Eddy a sweat sock. Eddy then gives the hero a dollar and a quarter. The hero gives the money to Joey. Ranger Joey keeps the quarter and tells the hero to return the dollar to Eddy.

Eddy later has the hero deliver some stuff to people around the world. He sends the hero to deliver some spark plugs to Mandark, stating that he needs them for some kind of experiment. The hero returns to Eddy for another pick-up; this time it's to the Candy Pirate, Licorice Lips. The hero delivers some lollipops to him successfully. Finally, Eddy has the hero return one last time for another pick-up. He requests that the hero give a glass of milk to Samurai Jack and explains that it will expire that very day. The hero delivers the milk just in time and Eddy wants the hero to return for a reward, showing that he is at least somewhat grateful and cares  that the player has helped him twice.

Soon after, the monsters in the Park n' Flush trailer park appear to be scaring away Eddy's customers. Trying to keep his business going, he requests the help of the hero again. The hero arrives at the trailer park and defeats four Dire Hydras and six Newsprint Ninjas. The hero returns to Eddy for yet another reward. He thanks Edd for building the cardboard castle and since Ed isn't around, he's gonna call the hero if the monsters come back around.

The Past[]
Ff11b

Eddy

In the Past, he is inside the Peach Creek Commons in the cardboard fortress (at the exact same spot he was in the Future), which protects the Cul-de-Sac from Fusion attacks. After the fortress was built, he decided to make himself the king of the Cul-de-Sac. Unlike most of the characters, Eddy isn't very concerned about the Fusion invasion, which he sees as little more than a business opportunity. Eddy acts as a supplier of common household items and weapons to fight Fuse and wants in exchange for his help, we desires cash or items of greater value.

Origin[]

Cartoon-Eddy

Eddy, from Ed, Edd n Eddy.

Eddy originates from the 1999 Canadian animated television series Ed, Edd n Eddy. In that media, he is one of the main characters. A greedy megalomaniac of a kid that loves being the center of attention, Eddy is loud, overambitious, deceiving and convinced that he knows it all when it is not even half the truth. For all his bluster though, Eddy is, in truth, an emotionally wrecked kid starved of social acceptance. The unofficial leader of the Eds, which consists of himself, Ed and Edd, Eddy acts as the group's idea guy, being the driving force behind many of the Eds' antics. Together with his friends, Eddy lives in the Cul-de-Sac in Peach Creek.

Having been friends with Ed and Edd since they were toddlers, Eddy would grow up alongside his friends trying to earn money from the neighborhood kids using Eddy's assortment of scams to buy jawbreakers. Eddy's behavior would mainly stem from his popular, yet cruel jokester of an older brother who picked on Eddy mercilessly. Convinced that his bother was a cool role model regardless, Eddy sought to carve out his own niche by following his brother's example. However, the Eds' scams would usually fail, which would not only leave them in embarrassing and painful situations, but also make them social outcasts. In addition, Eddy and his friends would consistently be pursued by their unwanted love interests, the Kanker sisters. Eventually though, the Eds were accepted among the neighborhood children when Eddy realized the error of his ways and it became clear to the neighborhood that all the Eds longed for were to be accepted.
